Even though fall is well on its way, that does not mean that summer should be long forgotten. Many of our industrial design students and faculty members had some unforgettable experiences this summer. We went around the industrial design studio to find out more!

One cool thing you did this summer: I went to DIS (Danish Institute for Study Abroad) to do furniture design in Scandanavia.

One cool thing you did this summer: I tried yoga while paddleboarding for the first time.

One cool thing you did this summer: I went to Minnesota and Wisconsin and got to visit some really cool backwoods museums!

One cool thing you did this summer: I arrived at the U.S. for the first time- I used to live in Brazil.

One cool thing you did this summer: I traveled to Germany and toured an awesome prosthetics company called Ottobock that makes high end prosthetics.

One cool thing you did this summer: I was an accessory design intern at the Under Armour headquarters in Baltimore, Maryland.

One cool thing you did this summer: I spent a month as an Artist-in-Residence at the Vermont Studio Center. Inspired by my surroundings, I engaged in a creative process that involved harvesting birch bark and exploring its rich potential as a material.

One cool thing you did this summer: I travelled to France, specifically the Blue Coast. I got to go parasailing in Nice while I was there!

One cool thing you did this summer: We renovated three rooms of our 1890 farmhouse. Working on a structure that is over 100 years old is always an interesting process.
