Professor Jesse Harrington visited Washington, DC to attend the White House’s first ever Maker Faire on June 18th. It was a celebration of all the hard work that many designers have put in over the past five years to democratize design and innovation for the masses. There were many great exhibits on hand such as Open ROV, an open source under water robot, and a 3D-printed violin created with 123D Catch and Autodesk Fusion 360.

Jesse looks forward to bringing this knowledge and Maker Movement back to the students.
