In May 2012, alumna Manasi Manjrekar (Industrial Design ’10), opened her own retail outlet, called Confluence Elite—The Concept Store, in the Santacruz section of Mumbai. “The 2,500 sq.ft. Concept Store, is the first of its kind in the suburbs of Mumbai city. ‘Confluence Elite – The Concept Store’ provides customers the opportunity to create concepts for their home and office spaces with furniture designs and accessories available at the store. Customers can choose from the range of products like furniture, art, pieces of sculpture, pottery, spa, lighting and other wide range of design elements.”
