Professor Alex Lobos has been immersed in courses and workshops this summer that are focused on sustainable and human centered design.
Professor Callie Babbitt (RIT Golisano Institute for Sustainability) and Professor Alex Lobos (RIT Industrial Design) offered a summer workshop on sustainable design and engineering to an elite group of international high school students. Participants came to RIT from Spain, Denmark, Canada and USA. The workshop included field trips, lectures and projects that bring together sustainability, engineering and design. Alex will also give a course on Human Centered Design at ISTHMUS School of Design and Architecture, in Chihuahua Mexico. This is part of a graduate program in industrial design that brings together students from various countries in Latin America.
